Resembling an old restaurant, “Los Caracoles” is a classic visit in Punta del Este. It was inaugurated in 1971 by Don Roberto Gutierrez and his wife Doña Delia Pereira, a Maldonado family with gastronomic tradition.
The attention is personal and warm, and friendly waiters make us feel at our own home. Simple but nice decor.
The food deserves a separate chapter, a variety of grilled food, pasta, seafood, and suggestions of the house are the chef’s specialties. Because of its large audience, you can wait about 15 minutes during peak hours, but certainly worth the wait. The price-quality ratio is good.
Ideal for having a good time, meeting with friends or family meal.

Fui a comer con mi marido y tuvimos que esperar como 50 minutos afuera, cuando nos habían dicho 20 minutos nomas. Estuvimos a punto de irnos, pero cuando entramos nos olvidamos de la espera y tuvimos una muy linda velada. Los mozos muy amables y la comida aceptable. Muy util la página!
